Kingston Releases Memory Supporting New Apple Power Mac G4, iMac Systems
Modules to Maximize New iMac Family and G4 Dual Processor and Cube Model

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. and NEW ORLEANS, July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- In step
with Apple(R) Computer's release of two new Power Mac(R) G4 systems and a
colorful new iMac(R) family, Kingston(R) Technology Company, Inc. today
announced it has memory to support these systems, available in quantity.
Kingston will be featuring the blazing performance of Power Mac G4's during
its exhibition of memory and working with digital media at Siggraph 2000,
(booth # 2915) in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, July 25-27, 2000.

Given the popularity of Siggraph with the Macintosh(R) community, Kingston
will be highlighting Power Mac G4 systems during its digital media
demonstrations at the show. Kingston will illustrate the difference between
G4 performance when populated with different memory configurations. "Our
goal is to show the visible increase in performance that the right amount
of memory makes for Mac users," added Schwoebel.
Power Mac G4 with dual processors
Touted as delivering twice the computing power of earlier G4 models, the
new Power Mac G4 comes standard with either 64MB, 128MB or 256MB of memory.
Power Mac G4's can maximize capacity to 1.5GB with combinations of 64MB
(KTA-G4/64), 128MB (KTA-G4/128), 256MB (KTA-G4/256) or 512MB (KTA-G4/512)
of Kingston memory.
The Power Mac Cube
Compact and boldly designed in an eight-inch cube, the new Power Mac G4
Cube offers more computing power than systems quadruple its size. Beginning
with a standard 64MB memory module, the Cube can be ramped up to support a
maximum of 1.5GB. Kingston memory supporting G4 systems supports both the
G4 dual processor model and the Cube.
A new iMac family on the block
Available in five new colors and four models to choose from, the new iMac
family ships with either 64MB or 128MB of memory, depending on the edition
selected. Kingston offers memory in 64MB (KTA-iMAC100/64), 128MB
(KTA-iMAC100/128), 256MB (KTA-iMAC100/256), and 512MB (KTA-iMAC100/512)
configurations supporting the new iMac models. Each iMac may be upgraded to
a maximum of 1GB of memory, using two 512MB Kingston modules.
