Kerio MailServer 6.6 Brings Resource Scheduling & Exchange Porting

KERIO MAILSERVER 6.6 DELIVERS INDUSTRY'S ADVANCED RESOURCE SCHEDULING AND
FAST MIGRATION PATH AWAY FROM EXCHANGE

Latest Version of Award Winning Groupware Brings Enhanced Collaboration,
Improved Mobile Support, and New Kerio Exchange Migration Tool

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- October 21, 2008 -- Kerio Technologies, Inc. today
announces the immediate availability of Kerio MailServer 6.6, which
includes resource management and a new tool for migrating users and data
from Microsoft Exchange. With this release, Kerio now offers a
comprehensive range of collaboration tools to make teamwork effective. To
help organizations transition from Microsoft Exchange, Kerio introduces
Kerio Exchange Migration Tool (KEMT) to further simplify migrating email,
calendars, contacts and tasks to a Kerio MailServer running on a Mac,
Windows or Linux.

Kerio MailServer 6.6 now includes resource scheduling, which allows users
to easily view, subscribe, delegate and reserve shared resources such as
conference rooms and audio-visual equipment. An organizer can see the
availability of the resource in real time and immediately book it for the
event or activity they are planning. Kerio's resource scheduler sends an
automated response to accept, decline or acknowledge the booking to the
user. Each resource can contain custom permissions configured by an IT
administrator, including the ability to restrict the right to reserve a
resource to individual users, or assign a 'reservation manager' to add or
remove events directly from the calendar of a resource. Addressing
information for each resource is available through Public Contact folders.
Users may also view the delegated calendars of each resource in Apple iCal,
Microsoft Entourage, Kerio WebMail and Microsoft Outlook.

"We researched groupware solutions for over a year before choosing Kerio
MailServer," said Josh Gaines, Systems Administrator, VMIX, a media company
based in San Diego, California. "Installation was incredibly fast. The web
interface is quick, intuitive and full featured. The new resource
scheduling and improved ActiveSync support in version 6.6 have been
invaluable to us."

With Kerio, organizations can easily access all groupware data on the Apple
iPhone, Windows Mobile, Palm, Symbian, and Blackberry smartphones. This new
release allows users to view attachments and HTML email on the iPhone and
Windows Mobile devices implementing the latest Exchange ActiveSync 12.

"318 is extremely excited about the reliability, speed, and enhanced
capabilities of the ActiveSync implementation in Kerio MailServer 6.6,"
said Ehren Schwiebert, Professional Services Manager for 318, Inc. a Kerio
Preferred Partner based in Los Angeles, CA. "With the ability to download
attachments, enforce domain security policy, and sync data instantly, Kerio
MailServer 6.6 has become the perfect alternative to Microsoft Exchange
when using the iPhone on the go."

"Kerio's resource scheduling is a turning point in our quest to build the
most robust Exchange alternative in the market today," said Tomas Soukup,
product development manager for Kerio Technologies, Inc. "Combined with our
migration tool, customers can now without hesitation engage in
collaboration on a platform that works best for them -- Mac, Linux or
Windows."

CalDAV, the leading open standard for cross platform calendar
synchronization, was enhanced in Kerio MailServer 6.6 to include the
ability to delegate calendars, automatically look up contacts, and
configure user availability.

A new auto-configuration tool for iCal will automatically configure LDAP
access in the Directory Utility and elegantly configure the user's CalDAV
account, simplifying the configuration process for all Mac users. PC users
also have a new setup utility to auto-configure their Outlook clients.
These tools are accessible to end users through the Kerio WebMail interface.

The brand new Kerio Exchange Migration Tool delivers a fast, simple and
transparent method to migrate data from Exchange to Kerio MailServer. KEMT
allows IT administrators with a few clicks to easily transfer complete
server data and settings including domains, user accounts, user folders,
public folders, folder rights, email messages and all groupware data from
all of versions of Exchange to Kerio MailServer at a speed of approximately
800 items per minute. The Kerio Exchange Migration Tool migrates data from
all major versions of Microsoft Exchange: 5.5 / 2000 / 2003 / 2007.

Kerio MailServer 6.6 is available on the following platforms: Windows XP,
2003, Vista, 2008, Mac OS X version 10.4 Tiger, Mac OS X version 10.5
Leopard, Red Hat Linux, and SUSE Linux. The product is localized into 16
languages.
