IOXperts UPDATES 802.11b DRIVER FOR MAC OS X 10.4 "TIGER"

CAMBRIDGE, MA, May 26, 2005 - IOXperts has released a compatibility
update to its 802.11b driver for Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger".

Version 1.0.4 works with Mac OS X 10.4 only. Version 1.0.3 remains the
current release for Mac OS X 10.1 through 10.3. Both have equivalent
functionality.

The driver supports more than 60 different 802.11b wireless
networking cards on PowerBooks equipped with PC Card slots as well as
PCI-equipped desktop Macs via a dozen "sled-style" PCI adapters.

This is the way to bring older Macs onto the wireless networks that
have become standard in homes and businesses. A number of IOXperts
customers are also using the driver with PC cards to get better range
compared to the internal antennas in their PowerBook laptops.

The IOXperts 802.11b drivers support AppleTalk (with an
AppleTalk-compatible base station), 64- and 128-bit WEP, AirPort
password algorithm, and listing of available networks.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

Pricing is USD $19.95 for use with a single wireless card under both
Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.

The drivers may be downloaded from the IOXperts web site:

For Mac OS X: (http://www.ioxperts.com/80211b_X.html)
For Mac OS 8-9: (http://www.ioxperts.com/80211b.html).

An unregistered copy of the driver is fully functional and will run
for 30 minutes at a time to facilitate testing. If additional time is
required, rebooting the machine will provide another 30 minutes.
IOXperts highly recommends testing the driver to be sure that it
meets your requirements before purchasing it.

Each license is tied to the MAC address of the card registered and
may be used (with that card) on multiple computers under both Mac OS
9 and Mac OS X. Existing customers should simply enter their current
serial number to unlock the current version of the driver.

doubt, it is safe to try the driver with any card -- the installer
will automatically recognize any supported card.
