InfoInterActive Announces Internet Call Manager 2000 For Macintosh

Mac Users Surf Worry Free with ICM, the Leading Internet Call Management
Service

HALIFAX, August 15, 2000 -- InfoInterActive Inc. (Nasdaq: IIAA, TSE: IIA),
the leading application service provider of Internet call management
services, announced today the second Macintosh version of its patented
Internet Call Manager (ICM) service ICM 2000 for Macintosh. Available
from service partners in the fall, this latest Macintosh version, for Mac
OS 8.6 and above, follows the successful launch of Internet Call Director
for Macintosh by TELUS, one of InfoInterActive's leading partners. Internet
Call Director is based on ICM technology.

Internet Call Manager is the world's first and foremost Internet call
management service. It allows Internet users to monitor and manage incoming
telephone calls while connected to the Internet. Originally released for
Windows, InfoInterActive has since developed versions for both the
Macintosh and Linux operating systems. Each version is designed with the
specific needs and computing practices of the end-user in mind.

The Macintosh version of InfoInterActive's ICM technology was first
launched by TELUS in February 2000. Since its release, TELUS Internet Call
Director for Macintosh has attracted thousands of Mac users who appreciate
the benefits of being able to stay on-line and stay in touch. "We see
Macintosh customers as an important and growing community of on-line
service users," said Keith Hart, Product Manager for Internet Call Director
at TELUS. "Having a version of Internet Call Director for them was a
natural."

Like ICM 2000 for Windows, ICM 2000 for Macintosh notifies subscribers of
incoming calls with an interactive pop-up window that displays the caller's
name, phone number, city and state. Using the service's powerful call
management options, users can answer incoming calls, transfer them to
another phone number such as a cell phone or acknowledge them with one of
two messages choosing from professionally recorded announcements or
messages they have recorded themselves. They can also ignore calls in
complete privacy or transfer them to voice mail.

"A high percentage of Macintosh users spend time on-line. In fact, 93% of
iMac users and 90% of iBook users are connected to the Internet," said Bob
Richardson, vice-president of marketing and sales for InfoInterActive. "For
these millions, ICM is indispensable offering the ability to handle
incoming calls while on-line easily and affordably." InfoInterActive will
also make ICM 2000 for Macintosh available directly to customers from its
Web site following the launch by its strategic partners. Details can be
found at www.internetcallmanager.com.

InfoInterActive Inc. develops and deploys network-based enhanced services
combining telephone, Internet and wireless technologies. Its Internet call
management services are helping Internet users surf with comfort and
security knowing that they're always accessible. The company markets its
services through distribution and service provider partners, which include
telecommunications companies, Internet service providers and original
equipment manufacturers worldwide. It also markets its services directly to
end-users. The company holds patents in the United States, Canada,
Australia, Singapore and Japan for its Internet Call Manager technology,
and has patents pending in 23 other countries. See www.infointeractive.com
