NEW SPACEAGENT SITE OPTIMIZER DRAMATICALLY SPEEDS WEB PAGE LOADING
Mac and Windows Application Works with All Website Creation Programs

July 24, 2000 [Carlsbad, California] Insider Software today announced the
immediate availability of SpaceAgent, a Windows and Macintosh utility for
webmasters and site designers that typically makes web pages load 50
percent faster. In seconds, SpaceAgent optimizes graphic images and code
written by web-page creation tools, eliminating extraneous information from
GIF files, JPEG images, and HTML, XML, XHTML and CSS code. The resulting,
smaller pages download faster, render more quickly, save precious bandwidth
and reduce web server loads.

COMPATIBLE WITH ALL WEB CREATION TOOLS
Insider SpaceAgent optimizes manually created HMTL code as well as code
written by Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe GoLive, Macromedia DreamWeaver,
Allaire HomeSite and other web-page creation tools.

"Pages created by WYSIWYG web tools are bloated with white space, tabs,
comments, and proprietary tags that make the code more readable, but
severely lengthen both download and rendering times," said Rio Sabadicci,
Insider president. "SpaceAgent is a perfect companion product for these
tools, eliminating all their extraneous code and dramatically increasing
web site performance."

SIMPLE ONE-STEP WEB SITE OPTIMIZATION
To optimize their web sites, users simply drag a web page or a folder into
the SpaceAgent window. In seconds, SpaceAgent writes the new optimized code
wherever users specify, leaving the original code unmodified. Sabadicci
commented, "Using SpaceAgent, it takes just seconds for anyone-designers,
webmasters, engineers, even novices-to optimize every page and graphic in a
site and create new, lightning-fast pages."

DRAMATIC INCREASES IN PAGE PRESENTATION TIMES Insider SpaceAgent includes
graphics optimizers that typically compress both GIF and JPEG graphics
files by 30% without losing detail or changing web-page appearance. Because
the pages must be processed by multiple systems, including web servers,
networks and users' browsers, SpaceAgent speeds presentation times by even
greater percentages.

"I used SpaceAgent and our web site is now noticeably faster, said
beta-user John Childress Locke. "SpaceAgent's optimized code burns past the
old pages in rendering speed. Impressive."

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Insider SpaceAgent is available for both Windows and Macintosh platforms
and can be downloaded immediately from Insider's web site at
www.insidersoftware.com. Users can download a free demo version of
SpaceAgent that analyzes their web pages and reports how much more
efficient SpaceAgent can make them. The full version of SpaceAgent, $69.95
US, produces the optimized pages, and is available through an introductory
offer until August 31 of $49.95 US. SpaceAgent is backed with a 30-day
money-back guarantee. For more information, users can send mail to
spaceagent@insidersoftware.com or call 1-800-700-6340 or +1-760-804-9900.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Insider SpaceAgent requires four megabytes of memory to run, two megabytes
of disk space, plus enough disk space to store optimized web pages as users
create them. It is built for PCs running Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000, as
well as Power Macintosh and iMac computers running MacOS 7.1 or later.
