SANTA CLARA, CA - April 27, 2004 - FileMaker, Inc. today announced new
versions of its popular office applications, FileMaker Meetings 2.0 and
FileMaker Tasks 2.0, meetings management and tasks management software
designed to improve individual and team productivity. The two software
applications include new features and work with the recently introduced
FileMaker Pro 7 database software, which has already received high ratings
from several technology publications. FileMaker also announced a special,
limited time discount when both applications are purchased at the same
time. First time buyers may purchase FileMaker Meetings 2.0 and FileMaker
Tasks 2.0 for just $99, a savings of $39 if they were purchased separately.
Current users of FileMaker Meetings 1.0 or FileMaker Tasks 1.0 can upgrade
their current application for free.

"This is an excellent bundle for companies that want to make sure they make
the most of their valuable management and staff resources," said John
Dasher, product manager, FileMaker, Inc. "The business value of just the
first productive meeting using FileMaker Meetings more than pays for the
cost of the two applications. For both individual career and organizational
advancement, FileMaker Meetings and FileMaker Tasks should be core business
applications."

FileMaker Meetings 2.0

FileMaker Meeting 2.0 is a ready-to-use, customizable meeting management
application that makes it simple to create an agenda, record and distribute
meeting minutes, and assign action items. FileMaker Meetings helps create
and communicate an agenda to build the foundation for a successful meeting.
The application organizes meeting-relevant information in one place.
FileMaker Meetings also integrates with other FileMaker Applications,
making it easy to share common data.

FileMaker Meetings 2.0 adds five essential new features, including:

- Organize meeting-relevant information in one place, including supporting
documents
- Share common data like contacts and tasks between multiple FileMaker
Applications (FileMaker Tasks 2.0, FileMaker Meetings 2.0)
- Save frequently used "Finds," or searches, for later reuse, which saves
time entering frequently used search criteria.
- Compile project histories or summaries of outstanding action items with
Meetings' built-in reporting
- Create multiple windows at will to construct a personalized work environment.

FileMaker Tasks 2.0

FileMaker Tasks 2.0 is a ready-to-use, customizable task management
application that keeps individuals and workgroups on track and on task.
FileMaker Tasks organizes task-relevant information in one place, creating
and assigning tasks, tracking tasks to completion, locating and reporting
on tasks on demand, and communicating task-relevant details and status to
the workgroup group.

Unlike complex project management software, FileMaker Tasks gives employees
an instant, visual picture of what their work priorities are. FileMaker
Tasks integrates with other FileMaker applications so data can be exchanged
and shared.

FileMaker Tasks 2.0 adds a number of exciting new features, including:

- Easily create and assign tasks and subtasks, either as an individual or
for and entire group.
- Save frequently used "Finds," or searches, for later reuse, which saves
time entering frequently used search criteria
- Create reports to check the status of outstanding tasks or just tasks for
a specific project or group
- Share common data like contacts and tasks between multiple FileMaker
Applications (FileMaker Tasks 2.0, FileMaker Meetings 2.0)
- Create multiple windows at will to construct a personalized work
environment.
