IMAC CARRY CASE UNBURDENS DESKTOP LUGGERS

Willow Design Ltd. offers its new iMac Carry Case for those who have to lug around the popular desktop. The case won't make the computer any lighter, but will lighten your load by offering superb protection, secure balanced wrap handles and convenient end handles for easier grabbing or two person carrying.

iMac user reactions have been immediate and enthusiastic. Michael Lazar, an ADOBE representative enthused, "the cases came and they are more incredible than I could have imagined. From the description and photos on the web site it was not possible to visualize how nicely the keyboard, mouse and cords fit into the case. Thanks again - I am sure these will be "best seller" items."

At only 6.83 lbs, the case is contoured to fit the iMac properly, but remain as small as possible. It features 1/2" foam and corrugated plastic reforcement on the five upper sides and hardboard and foam reinforcement on the bottom. The iMac is secured by four inch wide velcroed elastic which loops through the iMac handle and the screen is additional protected by a padded plastic protector which also houses the keyboard. Mouse and cables slip securely out of the way into the lid.

Lifting the iMac is a breeze. (Or at the most perhaps a stiff gust). The two inch wrap handles are designed to meet at the computer balance point, as are two secure grab handles. The shoulder strap features a thick contoured pad with a sticky foam to keep it from slipping off your shoulder. The strap also works well as a modified tump line to slip over both shoulders for two handed carrying. For even easier carrying, there is a quick release strap on the back to effortlessly secure the case to a hand cart.

As with all Willow cases, the iMac bags are backed up by a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials or craftsmanship. Furthermore, Willow Design is the only computer case manufacturer to have achieved the BBB Online Reliability Program Certificate. Located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Willow crafts unique laptop computer carrying cases and sells them worldwide through the Internet.

Willow has other unique designs. "Creating a funcitonal iMac carry case was a real challenge, but our most popular computer cases are our backpack briefcase combination models," says Peck. "Our three larger backpack sizes all feature superb protection for your PowerBook or iBook, far more carrying comfort in the backpack configuration, and they transform to give a professional look for any business meeting. The greatest advantage though, is that in the backpack mode, they give no indication that you're carrying a laptop which is a great anti-theft device."

The backpacks really make it around the world. "Just today (September 12th) we received our latest endorsement from a recent convert in England. Julian Fifield of Oxford emailed us to say:

"Firstly, I am very happy with the Keroauc backpack (quality is excellent, styling subtle) many people have asked me about it...the only issue I have is it is very large which' makes quick " pick up the PowerBook and run " scenes a bit tricky...but I am trying!

Maybe the small bag you do ( the E. Carr? ) is the choice for hit and run jobs? how much smaller is it and will it fit a PowerBook..? maybe I need two bags!

Whatever - I am happy guy!"

Said Peck, " it's feedback like Julian's that makes it all worthwhile!"
