Inventive Releases iClip 2.8 Productivity Software for Mac OS X
New Version Improves Picture Clipping Handling, and Features Enhanced Drag
& Drop
AUGUSTA, Maine, Mar. 3, 2004
Inventive, Inc. (http://inventive.us) announces the release of iClip
version 2.8 productivity software for Apple Macintosh computers with OS X.
iClip is a multiple clipboard/scrapbook application designed to improve
user efficiency and productivity for various computing tasks.
iClip works as a small window that floats above all other applications,
allowing easy access to multiple bins that store clippings that users place
into them. Clippings can be text, pictures, URLs, movies, etc. iClip helps
eliminate redundant typing, especially in tasks like filling out online
forms. Users can arrange clippings into groups to stay organized.
New in version 2.8 is significantly improved handling of vector and
high-resolution picture clippings. This change mainly affects users who
store clippings from Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and later move
them to other applications. This update also features enhanced drag & drop
usability.
"For version 2.8, we worked hard to ensure picture clippings stored in
iClip from Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator work perfectly when later used
in other applications. Anyone doing graphic design work should appreciate
the improvements," said John Casasanta, President of Inventive.
iClip is widely used to assist general purpose tasks such as word
processing, web browsing and research. Webmasters, graphic designers, and
programmers also find iClip to be useful in their more specialized tasks.
Pricing and Availability
iClip is available now for Mac OS X as a "try before you buy" download at
(http://inventive.us/iClip/). It can be purchased for $19.95 USD and the
version 2.8 upgrade is free to registered users of any previous version.
