Hess Macworld Events Pages Are Ready

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- 12/31/01

HESS MACWORLD EVENTS PAGEs ARE READY

Boston, MA. 7/5/01 - Macworld Expo New York is next week and The Hess
Memorial Macworld Events and Party Page is ready for you. Now in its sixth
year (12th show), the Hess MacWorld Events list is *the only* source for
every event and press function held during MacWorld Expo week in San
Francisco, Jan. 7th through Jan. 13th. At least half of the show attendees
will see this list, so be sure to consider supporting the pages as detailed
below.

All companies, user groups, and web sites are requested to send their
announcements before Friday, Jan. 5th. Please email any scheduled events,
press conferences, or product information to press@ilenesmachine.com.

Companies are encouraged to post a free product announcement or contest on
the "Fun Stuff to See at the Show" page. Please send a 2-line description
and booth number so that users can get a head start on the best booths to
visit.

Look for the listings at:
http://www.ilenesmachine.com/partylist.shtml (-- Link here

http://www.ilenesmachine.com/partylistfunsf02.shtml (-- Fun Stuff Page

http://www.ilenesmachine.com/partyregis.html (-- user registration
for Ilene's Machine notices

Don't forget to tell your staff about the Hess Events List also, so they
can take advantage of all the fun things at the show when on break.

These pages are made possible by my dancing fingers and your generous
banner ad support. A couple of banner spots are available, so please grab
them today. Call for more information. Companies not attending the show
would do well to advertise their upcoming Mac OS X products in banners on
the page. This is the *only* web site with pass-along readership!

Sponsors are also sought for The Party Formerly Known As... (formerly the
Mac The Knife Party). This exclusive high profile event is on every CEO and
Mac network manager's itinerary, not to mention all the Macintosh press
you'd ever want to meet (or listen to at this party)! Sponsors can donate
product or funds. For the first time this event is open to the show-going
public for a small cover charge. The Macintosh All-Star Band, composed of
your favorite Mac press, is the entertainment.

Special thanks go out to Bare Bones Software, Stone Design, MacTank,
ScanSoft, and Kagi for supporting the party list activities. Please support
these vendors.

Background
The author, Macintosh/Internet Consultant and Writer, Ilene Hoffman, took
over this events list when the original author, Robert Hess, passed away in
1996. It is a memorial and tribute to his hard work in the Macintosh
community. The former Knife party was adopted when it was abandoned by its
publisher in 2000. Both services are delivered free to users and supported
by different companies each year. Special thanks to Bare Bones Software who
has supported these efforts for the longest time.
