=46ontAgent Pro Server 2.5 Adds Leopard and Active Directory Support
Zero-configuration enterprise directory is a font-industry first

January 14, 2008 (San Francisco, Calif.) - Insider Software, developer of
leading font-management technology for Macintosh and Windows computers,
today announced the immediate availability of FontAgent Pro Server 2.5,
which delivers professional font management with integrated diagnostics and
repair to entire departments and enterprises. FontAgent Pro Server gives
administrators consistency and control over font use by providing access to
only those fonts that have been designated for specific users, groups and
projects.

New Zero Configuration Directory Services Integration
Using a zero-configuration architecture, FontAgent Pro Server can now
seamlessly access user information stored in Active Directory servers. By
automatically tying into existing directory servers, FontAgent Pro Server
instantly accesses users, groups and passwords to save administrators from
the chore of configuring font users. To further ease font server
administration, the FontAgent Pro Server installer handles all directory
services setup.

Updated for Leopard Compatibility and Optimization
=46ontAgent Pro Server 2.5 has been completely updated to take advantage of
Mac OS X 10.5, Apple's Leopard operating system, and does not require the
server version of the OS. The new version also continues to run on Mac OS X
10.4, Apple's Tiger operating system.

Only Font Server for New Intel-Based Macs
=46ontAgent Pro Server is the only font server that takes advantage of
Apple's latest Intel multi-core processors to deliver unrivaled font-server
performance. The latest server release increases server synchronization
speed and permits administrators to fine-tune performance for network
speeds at various remote locations on enterprise networks.

License Manager Tracks Font Usage
By storing purchase and license information, FontAgent Pro Server 2.5
enables organizations to manage and re-order fonts easily. It also tracks
license usage and warns administrators when license limitations are
exceeded. In addition, the license manager tracks an array of font
informaiton including vendor, date of purchase, foundry information,
storage location of the original media or download location, purchase order
information and more.

Unrivaled Font Server Performance
=46ontAgent Pro Server uses smart, incremental updates of font libraries to
enable server-client font synchroniza=ACtion to use little network bandwidth
and occur at blazing speeds. This superior performance benefits everyone in
the organization, especially remote and traveling users utilizing low
bandwidth connections.

Support for Industry Standards
=46ontAgent Pro Server provides an efficient transport layer that uses
open-standard XML and TCP/IP to provide important configuration and
maintenance benefits. The new communications stack allows admins to
automate disk-image distribution of FontAgent Pro software to client
machines across large networks, as well as the use of custom ports for
tighter security control, including http-standard port 80.

System Requirements
=46ontAgent Pro Server 2.5 requires Mac OS X version 10.4 or later, 30
megabytes of disk space and a server with at least 256 megabytes of memory.

=46ontAgent Pro Server supports a range of Macintosh hardware, from dual G4
Macintosh computers up to and including Apple's Xeon-based servers such as
the XServe and 8-core Mac Pro multi-processors. It does not require
dedicated server hardware and can run on servers performing other functions.

Pricing and Availability
=46ontAgent Pro Server 2.5 is priced at $1,695 per server and is available
for purchase on January 15th at Booth S-531 at Macworld Expo. Each user
connecting to the server requires a licensed version of the FontAgent Pro
connected client, whose retail cost is $129.95 per seat. For more
