FaceSpan 3.5

NEWS RELEASE
For Immediate Release

Digital Technology ships
New Version of FaceSpan

FaceSpan, a four-star, four-mouse, four-diamond rated product just got better!

Springville, UT -- February 23, 2000 -- Digital Technology today released
version 3.5 of FaceSpan, now supplying users even more capability to
construct, save and run stand-alone applications and application prototypes
with user-friendly graphic interfaces.

If you have ever tried to build an application or prototype on your
computer or if you have ever wished you could in order to automate those
daily, repetetive tasks, FaceSpan provides an easy interface tool that
allows you to simply "draw" your desired interface. You then use
AppleScript, or any OSA language, to make your interface come alive!

With the new release of FaceSpan 3.5, this process just got better!

New features:
The first new feature in this version is the ability to create a preference
file directly from FaceSpan! This alleviates the burden of saving vital
options only in your current project's Storage Editor, and provides more
security to your projects.

By providing open source code for Forms users can customize their FaceSpan
applications to fit their specific needs. This grants additional
functionality and personalization to all of FaceSpan's window objects.
FaceSpan 3.5 also includes more documentation and support for forms.

FaceSpan will house a templates menu accommodating prebuilt window
templates making it easier to start off your scripts. Along with FaceSpan's
prebuilt examples, you may create and save your own templates in this menu
giving you a headstart on your next project.

Some of our lighter features include re-sizable modal dialog boxes, (a real
convenience when dealing with dialog boxes where increasing or decreasing
the box size is needed) round windows created by following a step-by-step
example in FaceSpan and, while you are at it, customize your tabs with tab
fonts and tab placement on the sides or bottom of a panel!

Version 3.5 will include Free Scripting Additions and useful utilities
written in FaceSpan. These extras may be used as useful examples, or as
example plugins for AppleScript.

FaceSpan will also include a functionality update of these features:
Up-Down Arrows, Bevel button artwork, Hierarchical menus in miniature
applications, table column access from your script by name, the current
date scripting addition, use of tables in projects or applications on G3
Powerbooks, table discontiguous selection linking, tab panel scroll events,
tab panel links, and popup menu font accord. For more information on the
update of these items please visit our web-site at
www.facespan.com/news.html.

System Requirements, Pricing and availability: Minimum requirements are: a
68020 or PowerPC processor, 1.5MB of application RAM, a hard disk, system
7.0.1 and AppleScript 1.1.

Now, for a limited time, upgrade from FaceSpan 3.0 (full version copies
only) to FaceSpan 3.5 for only $49.00 (3.0 registration number required).
FaceSpan 3.5 full version is being offered at the low price of $199 which
includes a royalty free distribution license for unlimited runtime users.
Users of FaceSpan 2.X (full version copies only) can now upgrade to
FaceSpan 3.5 for only $99.00 (2.X registration number required). Digital
