Group Logic Ships ExtremeZ-IP Print Server 4.2 with Bonjour Printing Support

Company Continues Commitment to Ensuring Apple's Innovations are Fully
Supported in Mixed Mac / Windows Computing Environments

February 1, 2006 (Arlington, VA) - Group Logic, developer of best-selling
network workflow software products, today announced the release of
ExtremeZ-IP Print Server version 4.2, an update to its print server
software for Mac and Windows. The 4.2 update makes ExtremeZ-IP Print Server
the first and only Windows based print server that supports the
groundbreaking Bonjour standard for dramatically simplifying the process of
finding and setting up printers by end users. Mac users can easily locate
and use printers directly from the print dialog of any Mac OS X
application, while Bonjour technologies seamlessly handle manual,
error-prone tasks like PPD selection and other configuration options. This
simplified configuration of printers delivered by Bonjour allows IT
Administrators to easily install new printers without having to touch the
Mac desktops or spend time supporting end users. These new features are all
available on the Mac without requiring the installation of any client
software.

Additionally, with the ExtremeZ-IP 4.2, release Windows users can now
easily obtain the benefits of ExtremeZ-IP Print Server with enhanced
accessibility through queue management, detailed logging and tracking of
jobs and centralizing print services across different types of devices.
Using a simple Printer Installation Wizard freely available from Apple,
Windows users can quickly find and setup connections to ExtremeZ-IP print
queues, bypassing the cumbersome and support intensive process built into
Windows. A key benefit for end users and IT administrators alike is the
automatic selection and use of the proper printer PPD file, which removes
the hassles of misprinting due to improper configuration.

"Group Logic has built our reputation on enabling customers to effectively
leverage the latest technology advancements for Mac desktops within a
Windows environment," says T. Reid Lewis , President of Group Logic. "Our
support for Bonjour printing in ExtremeZ-IP Print Server demonstrates the
enhancements we have made to the usability of the product so that users can
continue to easily integrate their mixed environments."

With better print queue management, simple setup and detailed logging of
print jobs, ExtremeZ-IP Print Server replaces Print Services for Macintosh
(PSFM) and greatly improves the capabilities and ease of use of the Windows
print server. ExtremeZ-IP Print Server provides compatibility and seamless
integration with the Mac OS X printing architecture allowing users who
operate Mac OS X and Windows print servers to completely remove the legacy
AppleTalk protocol from their network.

Group Logic today also launched their new online web store where users can
purchase new ExtremeZ-IP File and Print Server licenses, product upgrades
or purchase additional clients. This new addition to the website is part of
Group Logic's continued support for providing customers with immediate
access to purchase product downloads. The new online store is available at
www.grouplogic.com/store.

ExtremeZ-IP 4.2 is available immediately from Group Logic's web site and is
free to customers who own licenses for version 4.0 or higher and have an
active Maintenance and Support Contract. Customers using prior versions of
the product must purchase an upgrade to take advantage of the new 4.2
version features. Customers can contact Group Logic at sales@grouplogic.com
or by calling +1.703.528.1555 or 800.476.8781.
