Group Logic Delivers ExtremeZ-IP File Server 4.2 with Improved Home
Directory Support

New Product Update Provides Administrators with Increased Configuration and
Management Capabilities

February 9, 2006 (Arlington, VA) - Group Logic, developer of best-selling
network workflow software products, announced the release of ExtremeZ-IP
File Server version 4.2, a free update that now offers simplified
configuration of home directories through the ExtremeZ-IP Administrator
interface, saving System Administrators time and saving users from the
hassle of searching through thousands of folders. This new update provides
users with increased configuration and management capabilities by allowing
Mac users to experience the same Home Directory experience as Windows
users, combined with faster search speeds, making it the most flexible and
functional File Server for Mac desktops and Windows servers.

Additionally, the ExtremeZ-IP 4.2 release delivers the ability to
disconnect idle users allowing administrators better control of resources
by automatically logging out users who are no longer actively accessing the
server. This latest version also includes a number of other enhancements
and important bug fixes which reiterate Group Logic's dedication to
responding to customer feedback.

"With this release of ExtremeZ-IP File Server , we are leveraging the work
the Administrator does to the Mac so that users can continue to easily
integrate their Mac desktops within Windows environments" says T. Reid
Lewis , President of Group Logic. "The latest improvements enable
administrators in large environments to easily configure Home Directories;
eliminating the time it took for users to previously sift through hundreds
or thousands of directories or complex folder structures."

The release of ExtremeZ-IP 4.2 continues Group Logic's commitment to
keeping pace with Apple's desktop innovations and empowers users to take
advantage of these breakthroughs within the Windows server environments.
ExtremeZ-IP is the only file server for Mac/Windows environments to be
actively enhanced and maintained and the only Windows-based file server to
support the latest version of the Apple File Protocol ( AFP ). As the
proven standard for file sharing between Mac Desktops and Windows Servers,
ExtremeZ-IP is the most trusted solution for ensuring compatibility without
compromise. It is used by thousands of customers worldwide who depend on it
for reliable file and print sharing between their Mac desktops and Windows
servers.
