Extensis Launches Suitcase Fusion - the Future of Font Management

Suitcase Fusion combines the power of Suitcase and Font Reserve to deliver
industrial-strength font management for Mac OS X.

Macworld Expo - San Francisco, January 9, 2006 - Extensis, a division of
Celartem, Inc., today announced Suitcase Fusion, its highly anticipated,
next-generation, single-user font manager. Suitcase Fusion integrates the
strength and power of the two leading single-user font managers, Suitcase
X1 and Font Reserve 3. By combining the much-desired user interface and
ease-of-use of Suitcase, the capability and back-end power of Font Reserve,
and the inclusion of additional font management capabilities and features,
Extensis has created a tool uniquely suited to the needs of creative
professionals.

Suitcase Fusion emerges as Extensis' first product in its next-generation
font management software family. Suitcase Fusion is the upgrade path for
both Suitcase and Font Reserve stand-alone users, and will allow both sets
of users to easily upgrade their existing font databases to Suitcase Fusion.

"When Extensis undertook the task of combining Suitcase and Font Reserve,
we went straight to our existing customer base for feedback," said Halstead
York, Product Manager for Font Solutions. "We took the best attributes from
both solutions and delivered the =DCber Font Manager - Suitcase Fusion. As
the only solution using Font Sense technology - we can ensure the highest
level of reliability, quality and stability for all Suitcase Fusion users."

Suitcase Fusion, a Mac OS X, single-user font manager, makes the many
hassles of managing fonts effortless by including a central font
repository, face level activation, font corruption checking and font
identification technology. With Suitcase Fusion, users are provided
automatic font activation so that they never have to think about activating
the right fonts. By simply opening a document, a user's fonts are
automatically activated by Suitcase Fusion. To meet professional font
user's standards, Suitcase Fusion automatically categorizes fonts by
classification, foundries, and font families to provide more font
information. Additionally, users can create their own classifications and
foundries and change them anytime. Suitcase Fusion also brings working with
multiple font previews, collecting fonts for output, and organizing fonts
via nested sets and keywords to the level that creative professionals
demand.

Suitcase Fusion's Font Sense technology ensures a smooth workflow by
identifying, locating and activating the exact fonts used in a document.
Because of this one-of-a-kind technology, Suitcase Fusion goes beyond
identifying fonts by name; it creates unique identifiers that guarantee
font fidelity. This enables Suitcase Fusion to be the only font manager
that successfully manages multiple fonts with the same name while enhancing
the capability of an application to activate the exact version of a font.
=46ont Sense is available in all Suitcase Fusion plug-ins and allows for tru=
e
font identification within QuarkXPress, InDesign and Illustrator documents.

By utilizing Suitcase Fusion's centralized font repository called the Font
Vault, Suitcase Fusion offers an industrial-strength approach for
professional font management. The Font Vault is a managed repository that
integrates with the Suitcase Fusion database and makes font management
predictable and reliable - especially when users have multiple versions of
fonts with the same PostScript name. The Font Vault utilizes the Font Sense
technology to allow true font identification and professional duplicate
font management.

Suitcase Fusion also offers improved font handling through Type Face
Activation that allows creative professionals to be more efficient in their
daily workflow. Suitcase Fusion automatically splits up font suitcases when
fonts are added to the Font Vault. By activating fonts on a typeface level,
Suitcase Fusion allows users to be more flexible and enables faster
font-activation.

In addition, Suitcase Fusion users will receive a free copy of Morrison
Software's Font Doctor 7 for built-in corrupt font detection and repair.
Existing Font Reserve users will also benefit from a separate upgrade
application to easily and seamlessly transfer fonts and metadata from the
=46ont Reserve Single user 3.x database to Suitcase Fusion.

About Suitcase Fusion
Suitcase Fusion is the only professional font manager with
industrial-strength features. Only Suitcase Fusion offers precise Font
Sense auto-activation - an exclusive technology that allows Suitcase Fusion
to identify and automatically activate the exact fonts used in a document,
including embedded EPS or PDF file fonts. And only Suitcase Fusion has a
central font repository, Font Vault that integrates with the Suitcase
=46usion database and makes font management predictable and reliable. Font
Vault utilizes Font Sense technology to allow true font identification and
professional duplicate font management.

Pricing and Availability
English, French and German versions of Suitcase Fusion are available now by
download from the Extensis website. Japanese versions of Suitcase Fusion
will be available by the end of the first quarter 2006. Suitcase Fusion's
estimated street price is $99.95US, for full product and $479.95US for
Suitcase Fusion, five-users. In addition, upgrades to Suitcase Fusion are
available for an estimated street price of $49.95US from Suitcase X1 or
=46ont Reserve 3.

Macintosh G4 or faster, 30 MB of hard disk space and 256 MB of System RAM.
