Easy To Use Voltage Measurement For Mac OS X
Easy To Use Voltage Measurement For Mac OS X
June 16, 2004
VVI today announced version 9.4.7 of the Vvidget DAQ automation and
measurement system. John Brilhart, Chief Technical Officer of VVI, made
this statement:
"With this version of Vvidget DAQ, VVI brings simple to use voltage
measurement and display to Mac OS X. Sensors and instruments that have
voltage terminals can be hooked to the data acquisition hardware and
displayed in a real-time strip chart recorder fashion. Voltage time series
can be saved, retrieved and appended, exported to spreadsheet applications
or other applications and exported to a powerful graph layout application
for publication quality results. Laboratory sensors and instruments with
serial port interfaces can use the serial port options to perform the same
task. All this functionality is provided through the DAQ Plot application
using point and click functionality.
Developers use Vvidget DAQ and Vvidget Pro to build custom automation and
measurement systems, from simple lab equipment monitoring to complex
distributed process control and display systems. The integrated network
features are used to monitor and control entire processing plants using
many types of computer, embedded processor or sensor equipment. These
solutions solve any size problem, from small science experiments to the
largest manufacturing plant automation needs."
