CRYPTO-Server 6.4: New Faster, Smaller Architecture

CRYPTOCard ANNOUNCES UNIVERSAL VERSION OF CRYPTO-Server FOR MAC

Two-Factor Authentication Solution To Fully Support Both Power PC And
Intel-Based Macs

OTTAWA, ONTARIO, February 15, 2006 - CRYPTOCard
(http://www.cryptocard.com/), a Mac authentication technology developer,
today announced that it has successfully developed a Universal version of
its CRYPTO-Server 6.4 for OS X two-factor authentication solution. This
provides seamless integration with Apple's Power PC- and Intel-based
Macintosh computers and enables full optimization on both platforms.

"Strong security tops most organizations=92 list of "must-haves" and
companies understand that this is not possible if each individual user
cannot be positively authenticated," said Malcolm MacTaggart, President &
CEO, CRYPTOCard. "Using Apple's developer tools we were able to quickly
create a Universal application to make it simple for organizations
utilizing Power PC or Intel-based Macs to provide true enterprise-class
strong user authentication for local, web, or remote system access."

"The power of our tools has given Apple developers the opportunity to
quickly and easily deliver native Universal applications for our blazing
fast Intel-based Macs," said Ron Okamoto, Apple's vice president of
Worldwide Developer Relations. "We=92re thrilled CRYPTOCard has delivered a
Universal two-factor authentication solution to join the rapidly growing
community of developers with Universal versions of their applications."

Additional new features include:

* A new M2M (machine-to-machine) architecture - a much faster,
smaller-footprint solution that improves user and system admin experience

* Apple's convenient keychain application manages all of a user's important
and private passwords but is only protected by a static password -
CRYPTO-Server 6.4 protects the keychain with a second authentication to
guard valuable corporate and personal assets

* Protection for a mobile workstation (laptop) even when connection to the
CRYPTO-Server is not possible. Developed for the deployed workforce,
CRYPTO-Server 6.4 provides client-based Disconnected Authentication=92 that
can take place when the server is not detected

Developed to meet real-world requirements - where Mac workstations often
live in a mixed Windows domain, with Linux and Windows clients and Apache
or IIS Web servers - CRYPTO-Server makes it simple to positively
authenticate each user within a true heterogeneous environment.

About Token Based, Two-Factor Authentication

CRYPTOCard's authentication solution requires two levels of proof=92 of
identity: 1) Something a user has - a CRYPTOCard token that generates a
one-time password. 2) Something a user knows - a secret PIN. The benefits
include: A lost token is useless without the PIN; a stolen or shoulder
surfed PIN is useless without the token. A lost token is readily noticed
and can be easily revoked; each generated password is used only once and
will never work again - tokens stay in synch with the CRYPTO-Server to
manage this process - the result - passwords cannot be stolen, shared,
written down or stuck to the side of a monitor.

About CRYPTO-Server

The CRYPTO-Server is the authentication hub of the solution and includes
several components: CRYPTO-Logon for desktop and LAN authentication;
CRYPTO-VPN (supports Apple and Cisco) for remote authentication; CRYPTO-Web
(supports Apache and IIS Web Servers) for website and web portal
authentication; CRYPTO-Kit which provides developers with the tools to
easily integrate CRYPTOCard's technology with existing security
applications/systems; CRYPTO-Deploy to facilitate the deployment and
activation of tokens; CRYPTO-Migration, which provides RSA DES Token
Migration functionality that enables organizations to easily switch from an
alternative system; and CRYPTO-Console, the Admin interface that
facilitates, deployment and revocation of tokens, control of configurable
elements, and tracking/reporting functions.

About CRYPTOCard Tokens

An industry leader in token options, CRYPTOCard can work with you,
flexibly, to determine the best solution for your workforce. Options
include two varieties of hardware tokens (Key Chain and Calculator styles)
and several software options including smart cards and software tokens.
Different tokens provide different levels of mobility and convenience.
Tokens are available in bulk but also as Five-Token kits that include full
CRYPTO-Server software, a five-seat license and five tokens (choose any one
variety or a sample pack to test five different token types). Kits are
affordably priced and can be added on as needed allowing for a staged
implementation.
