February 23-27, 2004 at the Big Nerd Ranch retreat facility outside

Applications, Performance Tuning, and Data Processing Inside the
Database. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Build and install a PostgreSQL server and the client libraries

- Use SQL92 and PostgreSQL-specific SQL extensions to access data
- Create triggers, views, and rules
- Create custom server-side data types and functions using C or pgsql
- Use the libpq and DBI to access the data from your applications
- Optimize the performance of the server for your task
