Blue World Provides New Pricing On Lasso Professional

BLUE WORLD PROVIDES NEW PRICING ON LASSO PROFESSIONAL 5 DEVELOPER EDITION

Lower price to spur wide acceptance of single-user version of Lasso
Professional 5.

Bellevue, WA--February 28, 2002--Blue World Communications, Inc.--pioneers
of the Web Data Engine(tm)--today announced new pricing on Lasso
Professional 5 Developer Edition.

"We're committed to providing our customers with the best value possible
and to encourage licensed Lasso products to be installed and used on as
many Web developers' computers as possible," said Bill Doerrfeld, CEO of
Blue World. "We're delighted to provide an economical way for Lasso ISP
customers, individual Web developers, corporate workgroups and training
labs to adopt Lasso Professional 5 Developer Edition throughout their
organizations."

About Lasso Professional 5 Developer Edition

Lasso Professional 5 introduces a next-generation object-oriented Web
programming language, advanced Web application server administration and
security, an embedded Lasso MySQL(tm) high-performance database server, a
new distributed architecture, new platform and data source support,
unprecedented extensibility and customization, redesigned and rewritten
documentation (over 1800 pages), and over 200 new features and enhancements.

The Developer Edition of Lasso Professional 5 is the edition to be used for
development and testing of Lasso-powered Web sites. Developer Edition is
limited to use by a single registered developer. Developer Edition is also
the appropriate Lasso product to be used with products such as FileMaker
Pro 5.x which contain licensing restrictions on use of middleware products
in conjunction with the standard edition of FileMaker Pro.

Developer Edition is the appropriate product for current users of Lasso
Studio 1.x who desire to test their Lasso-based sites running with Lasso
Professional 5. (Note: Not all features in Lasso Professional 5 are
accessible in Lasso Studio 1.x.)

Availability

The electronic download version of Lasso Professional 5 Developer Editions
is available immediately for purchase direct from the Blue World Store at
(http://store.blueworld.com). Box versions are also available for immediate
purchase and will ship by the end of March, 2002. Customers who purchase
the box version now can use the download version until such time that the
box version is available.

Pricing

Lasso Professional 5 Developer Edition is available for $349 electronic
download and $449 boxed edition. No upgrades from prior versions of Lasso
products to Developer Edition are available. Customers who purchased
Developer Edition since its release on February, 26 may contact
sales@blueworld.com for credit on the difference between the new and former
price.

Subscription Plan

To complement one's Lasso Professional 5 Developer Edition purchase,
customers may purchase a subscription plan which provides 12 months of free
upgrades to the latest versions of Lasso Professional 5.x Developer Edition
and includes five incidents of priority technical support. Additional
