Blue World Delivers Series Of Announcements At Lasso Summit 2002

BLUE WORLD DELIVERS SERIES OF ANNOUNCEMENTS AT LASSO SUMMIT 2002

Audio stream of keynote address now available.

Bellevue, WA--October 15, 2002--Blue World Communications, Inc.--pioneers
of the Web Data Engine(tm)--issued the following announcements during Lasso
Summit 2002, the annual conference for Lasso developers.

1. Morten Bagai hired as new Lasso Product Manager.

2. Lasso Studio 6 demonstrated at Lasso Summit. Beta available next month.

3. Lasso Developer 6 demonstrated at Lasso Summit. To ship within the next
few months.

4. ListSearch.com now includes complete archives for the MySQL list.

5. Lasso Professional 6 for Linux now available as beta. To ship within 30
days.

"With the recent successful launch of Lasso Professional 6, we've
established momentum which allows us to announce exciting new directions
for the Lasso community," said Bill Doerrfeld, CEO of Blue World.

New Product Manager

Effective November 1, 2002, longtime Lasso developer Morten Bagai will
assume the role of Lasso Product Manager at Blue World. Mr. Bagai commands
considerable expertise with building enterprise-level Web applications
using Lasso and other Web application servers. He will serve as a liaison
to the Lasso developer community and assist with building alliances beyond
day-to-day responsibilities with managing Lasso products at Blue World.

Lasso Studio 6 Demonstrated

Lasso Studio 6 for Adobe GoLive 6 was demonstrated at Lasso Summit 2002
during Bill Doerrfeld's opening keynote address. New features were
showcased including Live Data Preview, the Lasso Studio palette, and more.
Lasso Studio 6 is scheduled for beta release next month and final release
by the end of this year.

Lasso Developer 6 Demonstrated

Lasso Developer 6 was demonstrated by Blue World Lasso product specialist
Fletcher Sandbeck and senior engineer Kyle Jessup during Mr. Sandbeck's
presentation at Lasso Summit. The runtime debugger exclusive to Lasso
Developer 6 was showcased. Lasso Developer 6 is scheduled for beta release
to LPA members this Fall and final public release within the next few
months.

MySQL List on ListSearch.com

As part of its growing alliance with MySQL, Inc., Blue World announced the
immediate availability of the MySQL List archives on Blue World
ListSearch.com. The archives are available at

Lasso Professional 6 for Linux

Blue World today announced the immediate availability of a beta version of
Lasso Professional 6 for Red Hat Linux. The information site for this

Audio Stream of Keynote Available

Blue World today announced the availability of an audio stream playback of
Bill Doerrfeld's Lasso Summit 2002 keynote address. The 1.5 hour
