Open Source Framework Lets Developers Work Even Faster
Hoffman Estates, Illinois - September 3, 2002 - bDistributed.com today
shipped the BDControl Framework version 1.0.0, an Open Source framework
that lets Mac OS X developers using Apple's Cocoa framework create flexible
and robust applications even faster.
Unlike most applications, which have hard-coded searching, sorting, and
querying functions, applications that use the BDControl Framework need not
place arbitrary limits on their users. This means developers can deliver
higher-quality software to their users faster, while simultaneously
increasing the power and flexibility of their applications.
The BDControl Framework builds on the power of Apple's Cocoa framework for
Mac OS X by providing special qualifier and sort ordering objects for
software developers to use when constructing applications. These objects
let developers work with information at a higher level of abstraction,
reducing code complexity and increasing both code flexibility & reuse at
the same time.
