AquaFold Enhances Macintosh Database Administration Powerhouse

Mountain View, CA -- May 8, 2006 -- AquaFold, Inc has released Aqua Data
Studio 4.7, a powerful, multi-platform application that provides complete
database administration and query tools for Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL
Server, MySQL, Sybase, Informix, and PostgreSQL. With a single program,
database managers can save time and money in the design, development, and
maintenance of enterprise relational databases.

Version 4.7 includes powerful Oracle DBA Tools: The Instance Manager makes
it easy to control the Oracle instance. You can view and modify server
parameters, and monitor and back up the Oracle controlfile. The Storage
Manager lets Oracle users manage tablespaces and datafiles by making it
simple to visualize and maintain storage, including object and file IO
statistics. The new Visual Query builder allows users to graphically select
tables, views, and relationships to build queries. The Query Analzyer now
supports parameterized scripts; the user may have scripts with defined
parameters so that Aqua Data Studio will prompt for the values of the
parameters before executing the script.

The new Oracle Rollback Manager lets you monitor and maintain rollback
segments, including current statements, transactions, and execution plans.
The Log Manager gives users control over redo logs and archive logs. The
Security Manager lets you manage users, roles, profiles, permissions, and
security.

Version 4.7 also features an Oracle Session Manager which lets you
kill/disconnect sessions, start traces, and monitor open cursors and user
queries with execution plans. The SGA Manager gives you control over the
entire Oracle SGA area, including the SQL area, Lib Cache, and Lib Cache
Stats. The Server Statistics give you valuable summary statistics for the
Oracle instance, waits and latches.

Other new features in version 4.7 work with all supported databases. The
rewritten Auto-Completion Parser supports almost any SQL syntax. The SQL
Formatter provides user customization when formatting SQL statements. The
new Shortcut Toolbar lets you drag a node from the schema browser, and
create a shortcut by dropping it onto your custom toolbar.

Version 4.7's Schema Browser Filtering lets you filter objects in the
object folders of the schema browser. The new Query Analyzer Permissions,
based on server types and server connections, prevents catastrophic
mistakes by restricting the type of SQL statements that may be executed in
the query window.

Aqua Data Studio's new features allow users to extract data and database
designs, visualize them, and migrate them to other database vendors.
Developed with the Java programming language, Aqua Data Studio supports all
major operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Solaris,
and the Linux operating system.

Aqua Data Studio provides an integrated database environment with a single
consistent interface to all major relational databases. This allows
database administrators and developers to tackle multiple tasks
simultaneously from one application. Aqua Data Studio's sophisticated Query
Analyzer makes it simple to work on database scripts, with specific RDBMS
syntax highlighting and auto-completion to develop and test scripts.

Aqua Data Studio 4.7 is available for immediate download at

descriptions may be viewed at http://www.aquafold.com/features_4_7.html.
Aqua Data Studio licenses for personal and educational use are available
without charge. A single-user commercial license costs $149(US).
