ConsultantCowboy: Looking Back on 2010-Retrospective for Your Consultancy

by Ryan Wilcox
Feb, 2011 Issue

Article Synopsis

Initially this article was going to be about marketing (it's not as sleazy as it sounds... really). However, my own client work has prevented me from getting very far along in the writing process.Instead, given that 2010 is over but still reasonably close in memory, it's time to talk about a practice I've had (off and on) since starting my consultancy business: yearly retrospectives. There are plenty was ways to do a retrospective (listing out events by month, or by listing out critical events, for example). If we take a bit of focus, however, we can extract useful information.
