Today we explore another way of extending BBEdit, the stalwart text editor of the MacOS X platform. This time, we will learn how to provide support to the editor for other languages.To start, we take a close look at BBEdit's language feature. Then we learn two ways to build a language module. Next, we study the data structures that we need to process a target language. And we end by writing two language modules for that other OS X stalwart, AppleScript.
