GroupLogic has unveiled mobilEcho (http://macte.ch/C3V1d), a secure mobile file management (MFM) software product for the iPad. It enables enterprise IT organizations to provide secure and managed corporate file access for enterprise iPad users, based on existing security and access control policies, according to the folks at GroupLogic.

Apple recently said more than 80% of Fortune 100 companies are either currently using or testing iPads within their organizations. Whether directly acquired by the enterprise or brought into the workplace by employees, enterprise IT organizations are struggling to offer secure access to enterprise file servers without a native, user-accessible file system on the device.

GroupMobile says mobilEcho addresses this problem by enabling enterprise IT organizations to rapidly install and  provide simple, secure and managed  mobile file management for corporate iPad users. It can be purchased via the GroupLogic web store.
