Quark will be in Boston May 16-19 for the 2010 CFA Institute’s annual conference being held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. The CFA Institute is the global, not-for-profit association of investment professionals that awards the CFA and CIPM designations.

At the event Quark will exhibit in booth #425 and will make available a free white paper for the investment community titled, “Delivering Investment Research Faster with Higher Quality: The Case for Dynamic Publishing.”
 
In addition, Richard Brandt, director of Financial Services for Quark, will speak during the corporate breakfast session at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, in the Maine conference room of the Boston Marriott Copley Place. Brandt will provide an overview of how dynamic publishing -- including the creation of structured content -- is helping investment research groups improve the speed and lower the cost of authoring, formatting, validating, and disseminating investment research reports to multiple audiences across multiple channels.
 
Brandt will also provide a live demonstration of Quark XML Author, an add-on to Microsoft®Word that allows authors with no XML knowledge to work in their preferred tools while creating XML content that is automatically captured, validated, and dynamically published for them.
